2021 F1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix

The 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix took place on the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. It was the first ever Formula 1 race to take place in Saudi Arabia.

As a marshal and an F1 fan, it was one of the best experiences of my life, especially knowing that I was a part of the first ever F1 race in Saudi Arabia.

All marshals and officials must be on track early in the morning every day of the race weekend. After the day is over, we get back home around 1 or 2 AM. It pretty much meant that we barely got any sleep throughout the weekend. But it was 100% worth it.

I was at marshal post 1. From that point we can see turns 1, 2, 22 and 23. Watching the race from that place was incredible. The sound of the cars passing by everytime made everything 10 times better.

I was responsible of taking damaged/retired cars back to their pits. I took Mick Schumacher's car back to the pits after he crashed during the race on Sunday. I also took two F2 cars back to their pits.
